Heights of selfishness.....

This is not a new thing that now people have become self centered in this era. They think that they can do anything. So to prove this, people are now finding new ways every minute. Today’s issue is that now some of the people among the lot have opted a new way of climbing up the water storage tanks or the telecom towers to mind their own business. They are doing this either to become famous and a known personality in this huge population or just to get their desires fulfilled. These people know that the government will plead them to come down and their all legal-illegal desires would be fulfilled. They know that though the government is not much worried about the people actually, it is itself busy washing hands in the river of money. Yet, when the media will focus on such an activity of theirs’ then the government will surely come into the arena to get the applause of the general public. But is this justified? No, I think that such kinds of activities are not at all justified because it is the degradation of our country only. If everyone starts opting such acts then our country will always be called a developing country. Our country is a democratic country and every person has a right of freedom of doing anything but this doesn’t mean that we do such kind of deeds. We are aware of our government how it is today then atleast we should behave as a responsible citizen. Isn’t it? Today’s generation has forgotten our constitution completely.
Now when the people have started opting this method of climbing to high towers and tanks, the government should take care of it. Because the government and the people are two the sides of one coin. If one is acting irresponsibly then the other should take care of it. According to me at the foot of such towers and tanks a guard should be seated and strong action should be taken against those who try this act. They should be taught that this is not the correct way of gaining heights. They should instead work hard and attain success.

BHARAT vs. INDIA

BHARAT vs.  INDIA

How would you feel and what will you do if some day you find that your house is been encroached upon by someone, if you notice people forcing their way into your house where you and your family has been living in for years? How would you feel if you are evicted out of your house in return of a token amount of money? This situation might seem a bit absurd to you at this moment but imagine if you are someday put into this life threatening situation what will be your reaction? Would you meekly accept it or would you feel that you have no other option than to fight back the situation. Like when a bear tied to a tree is surrounded by dogs all around he has no option other than fighting the situation. At that moment you would surely not think about what odds will follow the situation as its aftermath.
To us it seems absurd because we are living in a democratic country and we have full rights over our possessions and belongings. We know that no one can take it away from us. We know that there are rules prevailing to secure our property but we are unaware that this is what is happening with most of our fellowmen, with our countrymen. It is our Bharat that is being deteriorated because of our India. Strange isn’t it. You must be thinking that what's the difference between the two is. There is no difference between the two yet there is a huge difference that people have created. Everyone knows that the soul of India rests in the laps of Bharat. Most of the economical progress of India rests on the strong shoulders of our Bharat. But our countrymen, our Indians are becoming blind to this reality. Most of the farmers today who possess just small holdings are being forced out of their homes and their lands, their farms, their only means of employment and living. You must be thinking now that in this democratic country who would be forcing them out of their possessions? Isn’t it? I must then remind you that it is none other than our own government. Who says that the era of Hitler has gone? It’s here prevailing in India, dictatorship. The poor, meek farmers are evicted from their lands by the government diktats for building in a new township or for putting a new power plant or for building a new highway. But do they ever give a thought to what the farmer will do without his land. How will he run his family, how will he feed them? No, this has never been a cup of tea for our government. ‘Land acquisition’ has become the frontline in the escalating confrontation between RURAL BHARAT and INDUSTRIALIZED INDIA.
The daily headlines of the farmers getting agitated because of the takeover of their lands and property have made “the Bharat-India” divide starkly and tragically clear.
Every morning reading the news of a new suicide case shakes each and every nerve of the body. The suicides committed by the farmers are just because of this reason of land acquisition. But do we ever pay heed to this. No, we just read the news, feel pity for the dead and his family, but do we ever give a thought to the reason of these suicides. The number of suicides done by the villagers has crossed all limits exceeding more than 500 per month. We say that the people in the urban areas commit suicide because of stress and unemployment but even after knowing this we are forcing suicides into our Bharat by taking away the only means of living from the villagers. How would you feel if your only means of employment is snatched away from you in the name of governmental use and the prosperity of the country? What will you do when you will have to see your family hungry, starving for food? It requires a strong will power to cope up through such situations. This is the only reason why most of the farmers are committing suicides every day because they find themselves helpless and guilty of their family’s condition.
The main point arises now that can a ‘modern’ India- the India of new technologies, new factories, new power plants, apartments, air-conditioned multiplexes and commercial complexes-progress at the expense of an ageless Bharat, rooted in the soil? Yes the answer obviously is NO. When the government intervenes on behalf of India to acquire land from Bharat for the sake of public benefit I should ask who is the public that is benefiting and at what cost and to whom?
Apart from the economic reality, let’s have a look on the social and environmental equity. When the government takes over the farms, which once acted as a drain to the environmental impurities and to the poisons that we every day pour into the environment, they are converted into commercial lands and it now adds to the poisons in the environment rather than acting as a drain to them.
But who cares? Isn’t it. Such questions are now acquiring increasing urgency as India’s seemingly insatiable lust and hunger for land is growing sharper and so farms are being converted to commercial establishments. India is now increasing environmentally ruinous encroachments into the forests, farms and other fragile ecosystems. Even after knowing the aftermaths we prefer closing our eyes to such things and moving ahead with the economic development. The rivers are getting polluted to such levels that its water is not even suitable for irrigation, how can we think of drinking it then. All this is because now India is trying to progress at the expense of Bharat. But this reality is often forgotten, that India and Bharat are not two opposing entities but one. One cannot progress at the expense of the other, because there is no ‘other’ to exploit but itself.
Even if we blind ourselves to this reality that India and Bharat both cannot progress at the expense of the other because the two are ONE, this reality would not change and this is a fact.

Evils in the name of socialism...!!

India, a country of diversity, very beautiful, very charming, attractive yet hollow from inside. India, few centuries ago, was totally in the dark shadows of social evils like caste system, colour discrimination, female backwardness, etc.
Anyone who just saw it from outside could see only its beauty, its charms, its assests but the one who tried to see it from inside could only see hollowness and darkness all around. Its not your outward beauty that matters every time but its your soul, your innerself that potrays you completely. When I was in my mother's womb I saw a dream of a beautiful world that would love me and welcome me warmly.  I was so busy building the castles of happiness in the womb for nine months but at that time I was unaware of the hollowness and the darkness, the darkside of the world. I took birth with a dream to live  my life to the full in this beautiful world. I was warmly welcomed by this world and God gave me the best gift in the form of my parents. I lived my childhood happily still  brooding over those imaginary castles that I had made in which there was only happiness, the inner happiness. My soul was so happy and delighted to be a part of this world but it was not knowing about the pain and agony that it will receive when it will become aware of the real world. I remember when I was about 15 years old, I even remember the day and the date because it was the day when my castles were badly and ruthlessly crushed by these cruel people who inhabit this hollow country, India. I am not saying that this country is hollow from inside butit is the people who are making it hollow. Few years back I went to my village, Beri, near Gurgaon with my family. For me my village was my temple. Such a beautiful place where one can get such peace of mind which is obtained generally when we lie peacefully in our coffin after death, but whenever I go to my village I feel so isolated from this world and its polluted air. My senses are taken over by the fresh pure air of the village. I never get a chance to notice even the people around me sometimes as I become so busy seeing the farms, the birds and the beauty all around. Perhaps this was the only thing that my soul has longed for all this while. But again I was unaware of what was going to happen in a few seconds. This time something different happened. While I was looking far through the horizon I saw a large crowd of people. I rushed there and saw a crowd of people surrounding a dead body of an old man and a girl of my age wearing a white saree and lying on the ground and her face all drenched in tears and her eyes showing helplessness. At first I thought that it may be his daughter and was crying because her father had died but on asking the people there I came to know that she was his wife and she was now going to be burned along with her husband. I was so shocked to hear all this, my soul shattered, full of distress, for few seconds I could not gain conscience. Tears rolled down my eyes when I heard that the girl's parents have married her to that old man at the age of thirteen, knowing that the man was seventy five then. They did so in return of some money that the man had given them. This was the first destruction of my dreams, my castles but I was more upset to think that Rohini, that girl's name, she was never allowed to see dreams. I was so helpless that I could do nothing for that girl.
My question still remains the same why are girls considered a burden in this world?? From that day onwards I have seen people committing some or the other inhumane deed in the name of socialism. Why don't they understand that without girls this world is useless, hollow without any soul. Girls give a meaning to the life of everyone around them. The people of this world have made themselves stones, heartless stones who only care for themselves, no matter if someone is hurt or someone cries because of them.
I don't understand that when this life that has been given to us is so short even to be happy always then why people waste it doing all such things. Can't they live this LIFE, A SHORT HAULT IN THE JOURNEY OF THEIR SOUL, happily and peacefully. If they can't give happiness to others then they don't even have the right to snatch the happiness of their life.

IS IT THE SAME WORLD????

Whenever I look outside my window sitting lonely in my room I am bound to think that is it the same world that every unborn being dreams of while he is in his mother's womb. Ponder upon this..while you were in your mother's womb what did you think?? As to which kind of world it would be where you are going, what kind of people will be there, will they accept you warmly or not. While we are in our mother's womb there a state of confusion due to all types of question that hit our mind now and then. When we enter into this world though we get a momentary happiness because we are welcomed with great warmth by this world. But we don't know till then what kind of sorrow we will face when we will actually become aware to what is happening in this world.
When I was born at that time female infanticide was very common. When I was born I was so happy because God gave me the best parents in this world. While I grew enjoying all the days of my childhood, I slowly became aware of the cruel and the remorseless people that existed in this world. There are people in this world who do not hesitate or think even for a second before killing a female unborn child in her mother's womb itself. They kill her ruthlessly without even allowing her to make the castles real that she was just imagining while she was in the womb. This practice has some what being discouraged in the towns and cities today but it is still practiced in the villages to large extent.
In earlier times, the villagers used to dedicate the female born to God by throwing her in burning milk and pleading God to accept their gift and bless them with a baby boy the next year. I have seen this happen in my own village. It was so disheartening that I cannot describe the pain I felt on seing it in the place which I considered to me my temple. That was the first time my beautiful castles were ruined and mixed into ashes. I don't know why people have filled so much anger for females within themselves that they are not even afraid of God. I am bound to think that the same humans created by the same God, can they be so ruthless, so inhumane?? Today also in villages girls are considered to be an unwanted responsibility for the parents and they are never treated as a part of their family from the beginning. Everyone of you will agree that girls today are proving themselves in every field. They play so many roles on this earth. She is a good mother, a good sister, a good daughter, a good manager. Ya, women always prove to be better managers than male. In each and every role of her life she is always better than the males. The world should now accept this fact that the world will finish the day girls are finished. But no one wants to accept this fact. everyone wants to be ignorant of all this.
Each an every one of us has dreamt of a beautiful, calm world with a soothing atmosphere when we were born. But IS IT THE SAME TODAY?? The answer is obvious. "NO". Now to whom we should blame?? Think... May be God?? Isn't it? Most of us will think that its God who is responsible. But according to me its WE who are responsible for everything. During the early ages like the Stone age, everything that they did was in favour to nature. They used to harness nature only to fulfill their daily needs of food, clothing and shelter. But as the world developed , ages passed by, and the thinking of man changed drastically. Now he thinks that he can use anything that existed in this world without any restriction. He now thinks beyond the daily needs of food and shelter. His vorasity has increased to such limits that he can do anything to fulfil his aims, his ambitions. He can even harm those who come in between his aims and ambitions.
If you turn around to see whats happening in this world you will find destruction in maximum part of it. Is this what we dreamt of before coming to this earth? Did we take birth to see only destruction and hatred in this world? Taking birth for seing creations like me being killed before birth and then seing these selfish people who have no love, no courtesy for others, whose hearts and minds only have greed for money, power. Was this my dream?? Was this YOUR dream?? Ask yourself....!!
Everyone today is busy loving and furnishing himself irrespective of whats around him. He is ready to kill the others for benefiting himself. He doesn't wants anyone to come in his way to success and whosoever comes in between is ruthlessly killed. I don't know why? Can't we live with harmony together as a family? Can we not keep aside profit and loss for some time?
I would like to throw some light on the past which will show the beginning of the growth of the seeds of greed in people of this world.  The Indians and the whole world considers America as the the superpower. But have we ever thought that though its their hard work with which they are succeeding but what cost are we paying for their success?? Yes, we are paying a huge cost for their success. They followed the policy "kill and proceed" and see now they are successful. They killed and finished everything that came in their way be it one individual, many individual,a city or a whole country. Long before, the reason of war between America and Iraq was never Iraq or Saddam Hussein but it was America who represented the actual facts in such a way that it looked as if Iraq was responsible for its own destruction. But the reality is that the Americans devised such a mechanism that Iraq was pushed to war at last. It was just that Iraq asked for some quantity of Uranium from America and America declared Iraq as a threat to itself and the whole world but the truth was something else. America wanted to overpower Iraq but this never came to light and even if it did, the people preferred to remain ignorant. And then finally whole Iraq was finished in a blow. In a blink of the eye thousands and thousands of people lied on the ground smeared in blood and thousand of people left the country. Millions of them were displaced from their homes, millions were mentally and physically wounded.

And still the world blames Iraq. Because the hidden ruthless incentive's of America never came into light. Today also the mass destruction that is taking place in this world is because of this kill and proceed behaviour of America. Is this what we dreamt of?? Have people forgotten all humanity, courtesy, kindness and love for each other?? These virtues seem to be meaningless for today's generation. Because what we are doing, our successors will follow us only.
So we are not only destroying ourselves but our future generations also thereby finishing all the hopes of any betterment in future. When our successors will come to this earth they will also ask the same question one day IS IT THE SAME WORLD?? And unfortunately the answer would still remain NO.

CAN WE AFFORD DESTROYING OUR NATURE???

Nature has its own beauty and charm and besides it, it has many things to teach us.
Nature , the best gift given by God to us, nurses us from our birth to our death like our mother.  It has to teach us many things in life but We are so busy in our day to day life that we easily afford to miss this life that nature wants us to live, in lay man’s language we can say THE LIFE BEYOND CONSIDERATION.
Through this piece of writing I want to convey that Nature wants to tell us that whenever we are alone ,we should not give up and start blaming God for everything. Because its our way of looking at things and judging situations that we find ourselves alone. But we never realize that wherever we go we are always accompanied by our shadow. Even in the dark, though we are not able to see our shadow but yet it is there with us. So there is no point of feeling alone and blaming God for evry second thing that happens against our wishes in life. So instead of blaming God or any other person for any circumstances that we face, we should try to happily survive through those situations because blaming and disheartening will yield no result at the end. IT IS WE WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR PAST,PRESENT,FUTURE. We can shape our future the way we want.
Now the point arises that should we become selfish and cruel just to shape OUR better future?? Nature answers..NO, we can't do that because at the end of the day we were create by one and the same almighty. Everyone has equal rights in this world. The roses, the lilies, etc that blossom in nature, they blossom for us so that we can see their beauty and whenever we are tired because of the boredom of our busy life, we can turn to them to find peace and get relaxed. But I would like to ask you, have you ever done this? Have you ever turned to nature to find peace?? huh! you dont need to answer that. Because the answer is always NO. No  one of us realizes the beauty of nature and its power to tranquilise our state of war within our heart and provide us a serene atmosphere. And I don't blame you all for that because our life in this world has become so full of competitions that we have no time for even ourselves.
In this world a man can hope of getting peace only when he dies and is peacefully burried in his coffin, free from all the curses, all  the boredom of life.
So instead of becoming selfish and self-centered our Nature tell us to do our best in every field of life rather than using other people as a step of your ladder of success. We should always try to set an example before others. We should always try to do such works for which we may be remembered even at the times when we would be resting in our graves. Wordsworth has truly said,
"Lifes of great men all remind us,
that we can make our lives sublime,
And,departing leave behind us,
Footprints on the sands of time."
If we today live our life happily bearing all the harsh circumstances, it will in future set an example for those who will ever lose hope in their life. They will see our deeds and will gain courage to overcome every situation of their life.
Nature teaches us to love  everyone because till we are united, no one can oversway us. Like a tree when it is planted is very weak and any one can easily crush it and destroy it. But gradually as it grows it has so many branches that are all united at one end, it is very difficult for any one to cut or destroy it. We are all branches of God's tree and evry branch has its own role and power. If any branch is cut, it decreases the power of the family tree. So till all the branches are together no one can dare harm our family.
Besides knowing all this somewhere in our heart CAN WE AFFORD TO DESTORY OUR NATURE?
